About Me

 Carol.JPG

I have been an LAUSD teacher since 1989.  From 1989 - 2000, I taught DHH students at Mulholland Middle School, and from 2000-2002 I taught DHH students at Marlton School.  I have been teaching at Miller CTC since July 2002.  Ever since I can remember, I have loved sewing.  It was a big deal when I turned 10  years old, because that's when my mother started letting me use her sewing machine.  Since then, I have been involved in embroidery, crochet, weaving, and knitting, and am a member of the Southern California Handweavers' Guild .   I love teaching English/Language Arts and Math, and am thrilled to be teaching the Textile Work Program at Miller CTC.  In my free time I like to read, sew, knit, and eat good food.  If you have any questions, please contact me.
