Miller CTC's 70 Para-Professionals (assistants) are multi-generational and  from different career and academic backgrounds, such as marketing, management, business, construction, culinary arts and education to name just a few. All Para-Professionals have passed the district proficiency test or have the equivalent of an AA degree. Many have obtained advanced degrees.

The Para-Professionals work alongside the teachers to direct and guide students in  vocational education programs on and off campus. In addition to vocational education, they help the students to build functional and academic skills. Some assistants are fluent in sign language and work with our students with hearing disabilities. Miller CTC also has healthcare assistants specifically trained to attend to the physical needs of some of our students.

Our staff comes together each day to serve students with exceptionalities in order to foster independence, mobility, self-esteem and to maximize each students potential to best of their ability. We prepare students to participate in the working world and to live as independently as possible. We strive to help students make a smooth transition into life after school.

At Miller,  we believe that the future and sucess of our community lies in all of our hands.
