Farming
Farming Independence
Interns learn to farm from seed to table, as well as interact with farm animals. Using a wide varitey of farming tools, equipment, and work sites, interns gain firsthand experience within this field of work. The Farming program cares for two large gardens on our campus where interns plant, harvest, and sell seasonal fruits and vegetables. In addition, this program also works off-campus at various ranch settings and vegetable gardens. The interns learn to work with farm animals such as chickens, horses and pigs. The farming program always welcomes you to take a tour, buy from our classroom market, and ask questions!
